Birth Announcement! Brody Jean Elise

Little miss Brody Jean Elise sweetly arrived on the morning of October 20th, 2016 at 5:47am, to her awesome parents Stef and Chuck, with Bob Marley singing her welcome song. I was honored to support their labor and birth as their doula.
Stef found my birth classes months before her due date, and throughout the course of class they decided a doula was an important part of their birth team. It was a pretty perfect match. In late pregnancy they had some hard work ahead to make room for baby to turn from posterior to anterior, which is probably why the Universe pointed them in my direction! We focused on techniques from my Spinning Babies training, and Stef diligently went to her chiropractor for the Webster Technique. Baby girl turned, and surprised everyone by arriving a week early.
I'm betting she's got more surprises up her little sleeves, as she and her mom and dad settle into their new roles as a family of 3. She is just the sweetest little baby. Look at that face!
